Walter Harrison Scholarship

For over 75 years, Grady EMC proudly partners with Georgia EMC in offering the prestigious Walter Harrison Scholarship. Since 1985, Georgia’s electric cooperatives has awarded $162,500 to 173 students.

Live Line Demonstrations

Grady EMC’s Live Line Demonstration is an interactive presentation designed to educate participants about the power distribution system. Perfect for first pubic safety, schools & community events.

Washington Youth Tour

We believe students should see their nation’s capital, learn about the political process and interact with their elected officials. Nearly 50,000 students from rural areas and small towns have participated.

Career development

We educate members on safe and efficient electricity use, including the EMC/FFA Electrification Career Development Event that reinforces wiring skills and boosts energy knowledge for high school students.
